8-Day Ultimate Uganda Gorilla & Chimpanzee Habituation Immersion

Arrive at Entebbe (EBB) and transfer (approx. 6-7 hours) directly to a luxury lodge near Kibale National Park. Prepare for the full-day chimpanzee activity tomorrow.

Full day (Dawn to Dusk) in Kibale Forest. Join researchers and guides to observe chimpanzees from when they leave their nests until they build new ones in the evening. Lunch is a packed meal in the forest.

Morning guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to view other primates and birds. After lunch, transfer (approx. 3 hours) south to the Northern Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight stay near the park boundary.

Early morning game drive in QENP, viewing large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. After lunch, take the scenic drive south to the Rushaga/Nkuringo sector of Bwindi for your Gorilla Habituation Experience.

Trek into Bwindi. Upon locating the designated gorilla family, you will spend four hours with the gorillas, observing their interaction with the research team. This provides a deep, unhurried connection.

After a relaxed breakfast, drive to Lake Bunyonyi (approx. 2-3 hours). Check into your lakeside resort. Afternoon dedicated to a relaxing canoe ride and exploring some of the lake's 29 islands.

Full day dedicated to relaxation. Optional activities include swimming (bilharzia-free), visiting Punishment Island, or a community walk. Enjoy the stunning views and peaceful environment.

Morning breakfast at the lake. Begin the long return drive to Kampala/Entebbe, stopping for lunch en route. Drop-off at the airport for your evening departure.
