Itinerary
A flexible, suggested route hitting the most famous national parks in Uganda's Western circuit, with freedom for the client to adjust stopovers and length of stay.
FLEXIBLE HANDOVER in Entebbe/Kampala (08:00 AM). Drive north to Masindi/Murchison Falls area. Optional stop: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Overnight near MFNP entrance.
Early entry for a sunrise Game Drive on the Delta side. Afternoon (14:00 PM) Boat Safari on the Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls.
Morning visit to the Top of the Falls viewpoint. Long transit day driving south-west towards Fort Portal/Kibale Forest area. Rest stop at Masindi or Hoima.
Early morning briefing (07:30 AM). Chimpanzee Trekking (Permit required). Afternoon exploration of the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary or relax at the lodge.
Morning Crater Lakes hike near Fort Portal. Drive south to the Mweya/Kasenyi sector of QENP. Sunset Game Drive upon arrival.
Early morning (06:30 AM) Game Drive in the Kasenyi Plains for lion and leopard sightings. Afternoon (15:00 PM) Kazinga Channel Boat Safari for water buffalo and hippos.
Leisurely drive south to the remote Ishasha sector. Afternoon Game Drive dedicated to searching for the famous Tree-Climbing Lions.
Short morning Game Drive in Ishasha. Drive east to the pre-booked Bwindi Impenetrable N.P. trekking sector (e.g., Buhoma). Mandatory Permit Check upon arrival.
Early start (07:00 AM) for the mandatory Gorilla Trekking day. Return to the lodge for a late lunch and afternoon rest/relaxation.
Leisurely drive to the scenic Lake Bunyonyi near Kabale. Afternoon activity: Canoeing and exploring punishment/leper islands.
Day at leisure. Activities include swimming (bilharzia-free lake), birdwatching, or reading by the lake.
Drive north-east to Lake Mburo National Park. Afternoon Game Drive to see Zebra and Eland.
Early morning (07:00 AM) Guided Walking Safari with a UWA ranger. Late morning drive out, stopping at the Uganda Equator for lunch and photos. Overnight near Masaka/Entebbe area.
Final drive back to the agreed drop-off point in Kampala or Entebbe for vehicle return and inspection (09:00 AM).

No, the cost of the permits ($800/$250) is excluded, but we provide a mandatory pre-booking service to secure them for your trekking date.
Major roads are generally good, but inside the National Parks and on side roads, conditions can be challenging (mud, deep ruts), requiring a robust 4×4 and careful driving
We provide 24/7 technical assistance and roadside support via GPS tracking. In case of a major breakdown, we will dispatch a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible.
